Would you end a friendship because the other person is dating someone?

I only befriended this one girl in hopes of getting in her pants honestly. Turns out she has a long term boyfriend and I just don't see how it benifits me in any way to keep this friendship going. Platonic friends are a total waste of time in my opinion.

How should I tell her I don't really wanna stay friends if she's dating someone?

P. s I've known her a year and a half.
