Should I give money to a mean family member?

I prefer giving over the loaning. I don't want to feel responsible for that type. Giving seems simpler.

If she’s mostly mean than kind (abusive/toxic), I personally wouldn’t. If she’s more kind than mean, I probably would (we’re all human).
