When the time came, did your parents talk to you about the birds and the bees?

- Anonymous13 dMy parents both grew up in households where sex just wasn't spoken about culturally so you had to somehow find out and I guess that tradition just went ahead and continued. My mom gave me some 12 page clinical pamphlet on puberty with no discussion from her and that was it and I knew my dad would never talk about it...but thank the stars that there was this late nigh radio program where people could call in and ask any sex related question they wanted with no shame, because I learned just about everything I needed to know from it. I do remember though, this one time we were in the car on the way to my high school and something came on the radio and my mom just randomly asked me if knew what they were talking about because it was about sex, and I was like, mom I'm 15, you're too late, I know, and she just looked at me, and then went back to driving me in silence, lol!0|00|0Is this still revelant?

- That time came since I was born. My parents didn’t care if we watched R rated movies with sex scenes. That their children (me) hardly ever watched children movies. Then by the age of 7 my dad showed me a graphic medical book 📖. Of a guy disheveled penis, he said “don’t ever have sex with a guy who has a dick like this. He could have cancer or aids!”1|10|0Is this still revelant?

- No. My dad never talked to me about it, oddly. Neither did my mother; instead, when I was between 13 & 14 she gave me 3 encyclopedias with articles marked & told me to read them when I got a chance. After she quickly left the room I saw what she had marked (as best I can remember it was female anatomy, male anatomy, and reproduction); I was thinking, "Thanks mom, but, I read these years ago." XD
My most memorable pre-sex sex ed came from a stash of Playboys I found in the trash (when I was about 8) & my dad's books on erotica (when I was about 14). When I was 18 and my mom found my Hustler magazines, I realized why I'd found the Playboys in the trash...0|00|0Is this still revelant? - Nope… When I was a young teen I had random little sluts that were hungry for my dick knocking on my parents door all dolled up asking if I was home at random times. I’d come home and my mom would be like some girl came by looking for you is she your girlfriend… I’m like what did she look like? Then start guessing names until my mom said, yeah I think that was her name… I think she was smart enough to figure it out...0|00|0Is this still revelant?
I was a knucklehead at the time and didn’t quite think that through just making a list aloud of girls that could fit the description as possibly my girlfriend to my mom… I remember her mentioning condoms many times...

1520- My mother did, I think. I forgot everything my mom told me about periods, but I half-and-half know that my mom and aunt told me about menstruation. When I first got my period at the age of 10, I was smiling and said, "Ma! Come here!" "I got my period!" My mom cried because she saw that I was becoming a woman.
I forgotten everything about what my mom and aunt told me about periods before the age of 10, but I believe it's the same from my understanding. My aunt explained menstruation with big words, while my mom explained it by using alternative words, yet I still knew that they are the same.
Getting older, as my depression surfaced, I didn't change my pad regularly - like, I'll just change whenever I have to use the bathroom/restroom. I don't shower often. Now, I'll shower when I feel the need to or when I'm going somewhere big.
When I first had my period, my stomach was cramping so much. The doctor told me to eat saltines and drink Gatorade. Getting older, my cramps went away. But now, I have no cramps, but seeing me bleed like that, it makes my stomach feel weird and makes my body scarred - like, I'm scared after seeing my own period blood that my entire body just wants to lay down on the floor and do nothing; I'll just feel a bit weak. I'm on a birth control shot and I'm planning on stopping so I can see if I'm gaining weight from that or not. If I'm not, then I'm going back onto that shot, if I am, I may still gonna stay on that shot.0|00|0 - Nope.
My father was a ghost, my mother was to busy working as a "company lady" to older men; so my aunt gave me the talk - that sex is an headlong path to hell and a whore like my mother would end up there.0|00|0 - Anonymous10 dIt was common knowledge when I was 5 that the penis went into the vagina to create a baby but that was all I knew.
Until I was about 12 when we started getting sex ed and I hit puberty.
I learnt what a condom was and what it was used for when I was nearing 13.
My single mum gave my brother a sex talk at 16 use a condom ext. I overheard it all but other than use a condom that was all the information I ever got.0|00|0 - The only memory I have of getting the talk officially was when I was nine. My mom gave some information of some aspects of the deed before then. Any questions I had would be answered with seemingly no awkwardness on her end.0|00|0

- Nope, my mother threw a book at me and continued that issue by shouting me down whenever I brought that topic up.0|00|0
