If so, how do you deal with them?

I have, it's my nephew who is 19. He goes out whenever he wants, he doesn't wear a mask properly, he doesn't know what social distancing means. No matter how many times I tell him to be careful and responsible he doesn't listen to me. He starts raising his voice, tells me to leave him alone and looks at me as if I'm crazy.
This whole situation is making me anxious and nervous. I'm tired of all of this stress! He's so selfish, he has no idea of dangerous his behavior is.

Thankfully everyone I know does but no one takes it as seriously as I do. Buying products at stores for example, I've yet to see anyone wipe their stuff from the store down or wipe their hands after touching a door handle.

To me, it's so easy for someone to sneeze in their mask while holding something from the store or even worse yet not wear mask in their car and sneeze all over their hands without caring.

To me, it's less about who believes in it and how much people do to prevent themselves from getting it. You really have to think about what you touch.

  You're right. I'm careful with what I touch, I sanitize my hands often. The thing is you can prevent yourself from getting when you're with people who don't live with you. Otherwise is very easy to get sick.

My brother is the same way. There's not much you can do. He ended up getting his daughter really sick and that's on him. People tried to warn him a thousand thousand times, but you can't fix stupid.

  Yeah, she's fine now. This was a couple of months ago. She still can't smell or taste, but otherwise she's great. Thank you for your concern.
  
  Yeah, it's really dangerous, but there really isn't anything you can do unless you want to protect yourselves by banning him from coming around until this is all over.

  I would ban him for sure. But I can't do it because he has nowhere else to go, so I'm forced to deal with him.

It is expected for a teenager to rebel against things they do not want to do. There is nothing you can do to change their mind unfortunately. All you can do, is be the example.

  I completely understand your frustration.
  
  You are doing the right thing by being an example, trying to educate him, and keep him safe. There really is not much you can do in this situation. The more you keep reminding him or confronting him, he will want to do the opposite more. Even though he probably does understand what you are saying, it seems like he doesn't care or believes that it won't effect him personally.
  
  Keep in mind, that It could also be that people his age are doing the same thing and not wearing masks, social distancing, and so it could be he is trying to fit in with his peers.
  
  Sometimes people have to learn the hard way. You have done your part.

  1.5 months in... much better. not 100%... energy/stamina lower, possible some mental impact, some things different. it's ipmactful to some.
