How good are you at keeping secrets?

I’m like a black hole when it comes to secrets. As far as I have observed, I’m one of the few people who literally “doesn’t tell anyone” when a friend asks.


Separately, I’ve realized that some people say things like “don’t tell anyone”, but they actually want you to tell people. But, I tend to deliberately take people at face value so I don’t try and attempt to understand the nuances of when people do and don’t want you to actually keep a secret, so I say nothing, to anybody, ever.


However, if their secret involved their personal safety or was related to a crime that would harm themselves or another individual, I would be compelled to take some action.

50/50 i don't lie unless to authority, but i can just not say something. So if it's a secret about something someone told me and nobody knew about it, therefore no one asked me ever about it. It would never be said. Or if they just ask what was the about, i just say None of your business. It's not lying it's just keeping from saying something.

I never expose people... I can keep secrets because I have to veil the flaws of others... As a Muslim, God orders me never to betray the things or people that tell me to keep their stuff secret.
