I love her
Those are priceless! ❤️
Yeah my oldest came and told on her cousin for hitting her back she had no idea she was telling on herself it’s hard to scold them at times like that
@Ez-Bri-Z I thought it was "the angry took over and she couldn't control herself.". (Third person.)
Lol it may have been. I was doing it from memory. My original question about parenting has the accurate version of it
Lol yeah. It was really funny.
You seriously should. My mom and I busted a gut reading your post.
I'll write a MyTake on what they say, not only what they write, in a few days. But for now (and this happened last week), a little boy around 8 years old, all dressed in his Sunday best, strolled into my office during a visitation. Any time a little kid at a funeral home says "I have a question" or "can I ask you something?" what follows is sure to be a doozy. After staring at me for a few seconds, he asked if I would come with him, he wanted to know something. He took me by the hand and led me into the visitation room where a cube-shaped urn with the deceased's cremains was on a stand, and asked: "Is my grandpa really in there?" I replied yes, he was. The boy asked "So what's the trick? How'd you get all of him in there?" I explained delicately the cremation process to the boy. He looked at me and said "That was a lot of trouble, you could have just given him an enema." He saw the puzzled look on my face and said: "Grandma always told grandpa if she gave him an enema he could sleep in a match box."
Brilliant, how to deal with Grandpa 🤭
Thanks for MHO!
@SaoirseS I'm looking forward to your MyTake!

Oh my goodness. Lol. I would have told my kid to watch his language.
@Apulu_3 That is a human truth that people respond to others in different ways. I myself do that as well.
@Jamie05rhs Yes that's a behavior we can't change
@Apulu_3 I didn't say it was bad. :)
@Jamie05rhs I didn't took it that way either so don't worry about that 😊
@Jamie05rhs Lol, I know right! I mean I still feel bad for thinking the worst, but it REALLY sounded like so “assaulty”!
Oh my goodness lol! When my younger son was 1 he grabbed my older son’s penis and he yelled “not ok touch” lol. It was totally innocent though.
@loves2learn I'm glad you taught him that (your older son).
@Jamie05rhs yup. It is important.
Awww, that is so wonderful that you taught that to your kids. 🥰
Lmao! That is funny. I am not from Boston. Thank you for the translation.
I love it!
Children's lack of social 'filter' is what makes their honesty, so precious!Whatever they say in that moment tends to be their absolute truth AT THAT MOMENT <3
@loves2learn I think I was in my car and taking off in record time! LOL...
@TrueConfection pretty sure he was just repeating something he heard his parents "my friends" saying 😂😂
Too young! lol
"Out if the mouths of babes"We were all pretty stunned but it was hilarious. I was just thinking to myself, how the hell does he known 🤣
I guess you have a reputation as a STUD. 😂
Hahaha, no I think I had a reputation of flitting between women at that time, I don't think stud ever came into it, more indecisive.
Kids are so funny
Kid are brutally honest in general
yes but they were funny too.
yes we are lol
@Lee1515 What are you doing up so late? don't you have school tomorrow?
yes i do
Damn. You women are so mean to each other. Lol
@Jamie05rhs you have to let things roll off you
Kids can be brutally honest lol
I see that I got a frowny face from someone. I'm sure that everything has changed, but when I was growing up, children sat quietly until they were asked a direct question from an adult. It worked well then, so that I see no reason that it can't work well now.
The frowny face bitch can fuck off
Alright, I will then. My dad was a believer in that philosophy, although he also believed in we shouldn't be seen either. Kids are a gift that should be allowed to speak and not told to repress themselves until we are ready for them.
Sorry. I read this wrong. I actually agree with @Ez-Bri-Z on this one. Kids are amazing and should be cherished and I love their lack of filter.
Bad dad! LOL... 😂
@ArrowheadSW Yeah, he got a time out.
@TrueConfection Your 3 year old or the dad got a time out?
@TrueConfection The thermostat?
Oh- the SPEEDOMETER! LOLOL
