GUys, are you okay with your girlfriend having a straight guy best friend?

I think it would cause some jealously and wouldn't work unless the guy was already dating someone else. At minimum it would make me feel like I'm competing for her attraction and companionship. If he best friend is a guy it would make me feel like she doesn't view me as a friend and just a "boy toy". If she doesn't hang out with these guys that often and its just that she has more guy friends than usual it wouldn't be a big deal though.

But if she could show me more effection and attention then him.. Id be ok..

But there is no way I would tell her that.. Because it sounds like I'm making her choose.. Its not a choice.. If she likes me more then him it would be obvious already

I would have a problem with it. Especially if they were spending time alone together. I would not be able to trust that she would be faithful under those circumstances. I have been cheated on like that before. I am not stupid enough to let it happen again. It is way too hard for guys and girls to remain just friends.

It's not a good thing. Can't tell you how many times I've heard that story move on to "and then one night we got drunk and I don't know but somehow I ended up blowing/f*cking him!"
