She tells you that "you're a great guy", is that friendzoned or is it whatever?

Ok so I wanted to ask this question again hoping to get more answers. When a girl says "youre a great guy" (not followed by a "but..." ) is that a good thing or a bad thing? Does it mean she only sees you as a friend? Happened to me not too long ago when I was apologizing to a girl about something.

You've been "friendzoned". If she claims that your a great guy, why isn't she attempting to hangout with you? In my experience, if a girl really likes someone they would express it by actions instead of words. Now, its completely different when you and the girl were actually dating, had sex, or whatever and said "Your a great guy", because then it would mean something. But right now, your in the friend zone.

I haven't made a move on her. I want to but it seems like the longer we know each other the harder it is to make a good move on her. I want to the next time I see her. But yeah I've taken her on date situations. I'm good at picking up on signs and so far I haven't seen her make it obvious that we're just platonic. She never talks about other guys. I also avoid talking to her about problems and she doesn't discuss problems either. She acts a little nervous and shy around me but she's still talkative

That still tells me that your just friends. You need to make some moves to let her know how you really feel. You need to be 100% certain that she likes you back; there should not be any speculation.

Well, if she said that with no but then I don't know why you would just assume she's friend zoning you. She's complimenting you. If she had said "You're a great guy BUT we can't be more than friends" then you have been friend zoned for sure.
