I'm Spaniard so I can tell you a few things about those places. First of all, people goes there with one thing in mind. If you are a woman, you'll get hit on A LOT, openly, even with your boyfriend there at your side. If you are a man, you won't be hit on so much (or at all), but you'll have plenty of opportunities to "get some". Nightlife in those places is wild, IT IS. I can tell you many stories, a (female) friend of mine works there as a waiter in a pub, at night, during summer.

I would let my girlfriend go there alone (I did, in fact) because I trust her. I know she won't go to bed with anyone, although of course she had many opportunities. Her friends, most of them single, did hook up. All the single ones and two in a relationship. That relationship went on for a while and ended for reasons unrelated to that trip.

If you go with your boyfriend, I don't think you should fear anything. If your boyfriend isn't trustworthy and goes alone, he'll cheat on you. If he insist in going alone, he's definitely planing on it.
