I talked to the admins about it and they said it was okay because I linked where I got it from. I took screenshots from the video and paraphrased the article. βοΈ Thanks for your concern though.
Also this isn't the same title used if you checked the original Buzzfeed article. It's similar yes but it isn't the same. I am fully aware that this isn't my work and I'm not going to do this anymore since it's a problem to some people. I'll write and publish my own stuff from now on. This is not going to be entered in the contest I just thought it was interesting and wanted to share it.
So long as the writing is different, the headline is different, and the original piece is cited, it's fine. We just encourage people to put their own spin on it.
"We all have probably imagined how the women of the time period had dressed, but we probably didn't think about what was expected of body types. The white bathing suits that the women are wearing highlight the differences in body structure, doing away with other historical elements like clothing or jewelry."

Take me to the 80's! Athletic but still buxom. Woooo 😎

I Liked the beauty standards of the 1920's as that's what I am XD
Awesome π I am the Victorian Age haha
I matched up with the current era most. Tbh I like HEALTHY bodies and that can look like anything
I'm somewhere between hollywood golden age and eighties...
@Fathom77
This chick copy pasted big portions of the BuzzFeed article AND used the same title. Isn't this against the rules?
I linked the article in the post and said that it was from a video. It would only be a problem if I claimed it as my own work.

Just wanted to make sure it was ok

@Fathoms77 good to know
Inaccurate for a few of those. It has never been ideal for a woman to be too overweight or obese.
But chubby maybe?
Damn women... the best creatures <3
Haha π
I'm the sixties - han dynasty with boobs...
I like that body type haha
The Heroin Chic is hot 😍
Lol :)
Ewww

why is the egyptian black?
Because Egyptians were black.
@whiteandgold LOL they were certainly not there were a few nubian pharaohs but the egyptians were definitely more arabic.
atlantablackstar.com/.../
total bs.
@Josht13 "egyptians were more arab" now they are but in the past, they weren't arabized and had their own language and culture.
What you forgot is that beauty standards don't necessarily equal expectations people had of women. This especially applies to the renaissance age.
I love the "post-modern beauties" of today! 😍
Give me the girls from the roaring twenties pls
That'd be me, aha
@MsElizabeth96 then i imagine you must be lovely!
Han, 20s, 60s, and 90s.
Petite is awesome.
I prefer the body of 2000
swinging sixties was cute lol
Yeahhh lol
Nineties ( Heroin Chic )
Dang some of them ideals were really fat! lol
Beautiful right?
@Bellathecar96 too chunky for me but there's plenty of dudes who'll like those types.
Why are all the girls fat?
You're blind.
Most of them are overweight. That's not my imagination.
And? So what.
How is that ideal?
Who cares
Just because it's not ideal for you doesn't mean it isn't for someone else
Not everyone likes what you like
I think most people would agree with me.
Cool.
Thanks
