This is stupid as fuck. & I feel even more stupid for checking to see if I could do it, which I can but it's so useless. Like, wtf do I need that shit for? This isn't fun and it'll cause more harm than good.
This is like a new thigh gap. Something girls will obsess about while leaving guys scratching their heads thinking they are just plain silly for caring about such things.
it´s more an anatomical feature + being naturally flexible. nothing that indicates that you´re slender. i can´t possibly do that since back muscles block the way xD
FYI @asker and @WassPoppin i passed this challenge.. so dont think that my opinion is because i could not do it.. what i m trying to say is this is ridiculous.. and retarded.. and it has nothing to b with looking beautiful or sexy.. and other than that i still think none of the above girls have attractive bodies.. there bodies look like rectangle with no boobs or butt..
@OpinionOwner In which way is being skinny a bad thing? Ask anyone who is passionate about fitness and they'll tell you you're the biggest idiot they've ever seen.
@asker refer to my opinion for a response.
@OpinionOwner you should also refer to my opinion. Stop being so judgmental and let people do what makes them happy. It's really insensitive and selfish the way you're portraying yourself right now.
I don't really care if you could do it or not, Im just saying girls don't need large breasts or big butts to be beautiful, there is no need to shame thin girls, or girls with small attributes.
i m being selfish? you are the one who wants all girls to touch their belly buttons in order to prove they are healthy.. i gave two answers.. they dont relate to one another.. 1st this challange is stupid.. and 2nd i just dont like the girls.. this is my opinion.. how does that make me selfish? you like really skinny girls.. fine.. i dont.. so what? how about you stop saying what you are and let all of them b happy even if they cannot reach their damn belly button.. @WassPoppin
@WassPoppin I was not talking to you. For everyones information I don't agree with what he says, I think he is an idiot. Being skinny is not bad, but this challenge is bad! You have to be very skinny or pretty flexible to even do it, and it's NOT a healthy goal, or something that should be aspired.
@asker not the opinion itself, but in the replies. Calm your titties. You are both salty and putting words in my mouth.
@OpinionOwner I never said that I want all girls to be able to touch their belly button, in fact, I don't give a hoot. What I'm saying is let it be a goal to shoot for to encourage and inspire woman to get fit (even if they'll never be able to actually do it, at least they went 100% and gave it their all.) You're being selfish in your judgmental behavior. You resort to insulting them because they're doing something you don't approve of (which is also quite judemental). You're both acting like children.
you are the one acting like a child.. because you think this stupid challenge is an inspiration.. and you called me selfish without any reason.. they can do whatever they want.. but they dont have to make it a standard for all the other girls on the planet.. what the next thing? the girls are healthy only if they can turn their head around and lick their back?
I didn't make a reply for you. This challenge has nothing to do with fitness or health, you're only stupid for thinking so. You can only do this if you are very thin (sometimes not even when that is the case) or/and very flexible, or if your body is shaped in some specific way. This is in no way healthy to aspire for, unattainable goals are not healthy. You are so ignorant it's ridiculous. She is not being selfish, nothing she said even suggest that. You can say we are just being jealous and childish, I understand you can't support your point, and need to make up ridiculous realities. Truth is you just don't get it, you know nothing about anatomy or the human psyche. @WassPoppin
@cinderelli I gave you logical reasons of why you're being selfish, you're just completely oblivious to them, therfore you continue by putting words in my mouth.
How are these girls making the belly button challenge a standard when it's CLEARLY A CHALLENGE. The last time I checked, attempting a challenge isn't required of anyone.
@asker I know plenty of human anatomy as I'm an artist and have had many art classes in which study it. I can point out the various plane changes on a girl that aren't on a boy. As well as the proportions of a female in comparison to the other. How is this challenge NOT about fitness or health when it requires you to be skinny/fit in order to accomplish it. I never said it was required but was a good motivator and inspiration. Obviously I haven't made myself clear after repeating it several times, yet you guys are so furious over the fact that you aren't as skinny as these girls that you fail to listen to any reason. If it is so unattainable, how are several people able to do it? (including myself)
Honestly, you guys are so sad it makes me laugh.
She was being selfish as she had no regard to the intentions of the people actually doing the challenge and only thought of herself. She'll call anyone who can do it ugly because she can't.
I understand you two feel the need to take out your physical insecurities out on me, but please refrain from doing so. It's not my fault that you two are fat.
open your mind and see other comments.. my waist is 26 and i can do it.. there is a girl whose waist is 24 and she still cannot.. soo how is this a logical challenge.. and people like you support it.. for no reason..
Why do so many people do it? And aim for it if it's unlogical?
Post a pic with timestamp, otherwise I'll issue you're lying. That's like me saying I'm 200 lbs of pure muscle and 6% body fat. Even though it's obviously not true.
@WassPoppin This has nothing to do with being fit and healthy, it was made to check if you are "beautiful and skinny enough" it does nothing else than reinforce self hatred. Health is something else than have a body weight of 60 pounds, which you would know, if you weren't so profoundly ignorant and empty headed. You are so incredibly stupid it hurts. I don't care what your pitiful ass can do, drawing a human on a piece of paper, doesn't make you know shit about anatomy. Maybe one day some poor girl will actually let you touch her, and then you'll get a clue. You just keep calling us fat, Im sure it will make you seem way more intelligent. If you can conclude I apparently have a high BMI, based on my opinion, then I can conclude you have a tiny dick based on yours. Go buy a big car, maybe it will help on your insecurities.
I don't think you know what "selfish" means, go pick up a dictionary.
"If it is so unattainable, how are several people able to do it?" Out of 7 billion people "several" aren't many. Plenty of people can bend backwards and grab their feet too, but that doesn't make it a realistic goal normal people to have either. I guess it's big news to you, but not all bodies are or look the same, or are capable of doing the same things. Yea I know, shocker. Maybe you should get out more, get a sense of the real world. @WassPoppin
Haha keep crying. The last I checked being fit and healthy was required to be skinny and beautiful, you're proof of that because you're fat. Human anatomy is required when learning how to draw human figures. If you're going to argue about this, then you're just as ignorant as you're making me out to be.
Here is the definition of selfish. "lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure." it seems to me that when based off of this definition, you can confirm that you or her had no consideration for the person doing the challenge and succeeding, you only implied they have some sort of eating disorder and are ugly because they can do something that you can't. Because you're jealous.
Okay we are gonna take it one more time for the idiot: Fit and skinny are not necessarily the same thing. You can be skinny and very unhealthy, just as you can be a little bigger and be very healthy (Notice I said "a little") If you actually read what she said, then you will see that she actually succeeded in doing the challenge, but okay, just keep trying. And if you read what I said, then you will see that I never once called those girls unhealthy or ugly, I merely used them to illustrate what the "bellybuttonchallenge" is, to show those who didn't know. It's not my fault that there only are pictures, of very skinny girls doing it. Im not calling skinny girls unhealthy, Im calling these (for some) impossible, very skinny body goals, along with self hatred, unhealthy. Got it?
A 3 year old could draw a body with the right proportions, so congratu-fucking-lations on not being completely retarded, in your perception of the human body. @WassPoppin
Are you an artist? No? Then shut the Fuck up. I've studied anatomy, you haven't.
Excuse me if I confuse you with the other girl, as you're both very salty and you both whine a lot.
If you're going to assume that anyone who is skinnier than you are is unhealthy, you obviously haven't exercised a day in your life. Stop being so pathetic and crying about other people's bodies.
If I'm understanding this correctly. Your fat, never exercised a day in your life, everyone who is fit and healthy are anorexic, you understand EVERYTHING about human anatomy when you have no experience in it, and everything you posted about the topic is no longer relevant when it's argued because in the end, everyone who is skinnier than you is setting a standard that you can't agree with.
You say that you don't like the girls doing the challenge because some how, it sets a standard for all women all over the world, yet it's a challenge and is by no means requires of anyone to do in order to be fit.
You also imply that you have to be anorexic in order to do the challenge which is obviously incorrect as anyone with a lean body can do the challenge. But they're not skinny or fit! They're anorexic!
Okay you just proved that you didn't understand anything of what I said, and now you are twisting my words to make them fit your opinion. Lets break this down, shall we? Hopefully you will get it then. I won't get my hopes up though, as you have proven yourself to be incapable, of understanding even the most simple sentences.
This is what we will be analyzing: "If I'm understanding this correctly. Your fat, never exercised a day in your life, everyone who is fit and healthy are anorexic, you understand EVERYTHING about human anatomy when you have no experience in it,"
#1: "Your fat" (It's you're, by the way, but nevermind) Not that my body shape have any relevance to this discussion, but since you appear to be obsessed with it, I can inform you that I am fit, and work out regularly. I guess that also clarifies #2 "you never exercised a day in your life"
#3 "Everyone who is fit and healthy is anorexic" I never once said that, I didn't even faintly suggest it. Being fit is a good goal, obviously. But being fit won't make you able to do this challenge, neither will just being healthy. You can be very fit and very healthy whitout being able to do the challenge, and very unhealthy while being able to do it. I said "thin goals" like this one, are CONTRIBUTING to making young women hate themselves, which ultimately plays a role in them developing eating disorders. It's part of a much bigger problem. I din't say this challenge will make anyone sick, I said it is part of a bigger problem and a pressure for young women to be skinny, no matter what it takes.
#4 "You understand everything about human anatomy, even though you have no experience in it" Well excuse you, you have no idea about what I know and what I don't know. But obviously you didn't really listen doing your studies, because you don't know shit about the body.
As a bonus we can add a #5 "How is this goal unhealthy anyway? They're living perfectly healthy lives after completing it." You don't know how they live their lives, and again, I used those pictures to show what the bellybuttonhallenge is, it's not about those exact girls. It's an unhealthy goal, because - like the thigh gap - not everyone will be physically able to do it, and those who does are mostly very skinny. Doing a challenge like that will obviously not change your life, just like scratching your nose won't, but it is just one more skinny ideal that girls have to live up to.

This is like a new thigh gap.
Something girls will obsess about while leaving guys scratching their heads thinking they are just plain silly for caring about such things.
Not sure this is necessary to show a girl is thin. It smacks of "How thin can I get?" Don't want anyone thinking like that!!
It's really just a fad and should be totally ignored!!
Humans do the STRANGEST things in front of the camera. LOL
as long as man has been able to make a fool of themselves they have and they always will
Lol when you can barely reach your hand to grab your hip.
I can reach my waist, that's it haha
Yeah I can move mine to my waist too
This is just sad I can't do it and I am a size 2 so I think it has to do more with flexibility.
https://tinypic.com/r/2mrxhes/8 this is me being petite
https://tinypic.com/r/s6n0hy/8 my hand can barely make it to my side
Exactly it is ridiculous, you are obviously skinny. It has just as much to do with arm length and flexibility.
yeah I can't do that, but I can hardly scratch my upper back either. I should stretch more often hahaa.
Hahaha you and me both!!!
Lol wtf even the kylie jenner challenge is betterrr!!!
I disagree on that though, the Kylie Jenner challenge injured people, this one is just plain stupid, but that's it.
I didn't even know this was a thing, but now I do... in addition to confirm my fatness. Oh well. I think it's silly.
it´s more an anatomical feature + being naturally flexible. nothing that indicates that you´re slender. i can´t possibly do that since back muscles block the way xD
and not even one girl from these pics has attractive or sexy body.. not even one..
All of them do.
i guess your type is super skinny zombies..
There is nothing wrong with skinny girls. It's the idea behind this challenge I don't like, plus it's just plain ridiculous.

And for the record, I never said I like boney woman, but I can respect a woman with dedication in the gym and fitness.
If y'all are so mad about people being skinnier than you, go to the gym and workout. Easy fix.
you are the one acting like a child.. because you think this stupid challenge is an inspiration.. and you called me selfish without any reason.. they can do whatever they want.. but they dont have to make it a standard for all the other girls on the planet.. what the next thing? the girls are healthy only if they can turn their head around and lick their back?

I could draw a human figure with perfect anatomy proportions, and compare the drawing and the actual person and confirm it with no flaws.
Did you just comment about my dick? Sheesh, I didn't know we were getting that personal already. xD
Okay we are gonna take it one more time for the idiot: Fit and skinny are not necessarily the same thing. You can be skinny and very unhealthy, just as you can be a little bigger and be very healthy (Notice I said "a little")

How is this goal unhealthy anyway? They're living perfectly healthy lives after completing it.

@WassPoppin

We'll I guess I'm fat cause I'm not even close. Lol.
True, Im pretty normal and I can reach no further than my waist^^
Wow, this so stupid. Why do people feel the need to prove that they are thin enough? I really don't get it.
Looks like another stupid trend to demean people like the skinny thighs thing
I can do it but it's stupid, it's basically proof you have flexible shoulders and long arms. Nothing more.
I don't think it was made to make people feel bad about themselves, it just some stupid challenge showing you can do abnormal things with your body.
WHO COMES UP WITH THIS SHIT? SERIOUSLY. WHO?
Whoever thinks these poses are attractive is on some serious shit. *facepalm*
I think it is ridiculous haha who cares? if you can do it awesome!
is it possible for guys to do it? i mean im pretty skinny but i can barely get my fingers around my side
Well guys are naturally broader, and all this ridiculousness like the thigh gap, the bikini bridge and now this, are for women, not really for men :)
