    shampoo is detergent based with plastics to give false appearance of shine... your hair is dead and shampoo does nothing to the folicles.

The blood flow you get while massaging your scalp while shampooing your hair can aid in hair growth if it is consistent, but its not going to have a significant impact on it. The best thing you can do for hair growth is improve your diet and/or take biotin.

  • Keeping your hair healthy helps it grow, and most shampoos help keep it healthy, so yeah a bit. But using shampoo too often actually does bad to your hair. I think conditioner helps it stay healthy more
