  • Sort of. In old times, high heels, or their older counterparts that resemble contemporary heels, were used for many different purposes, like butchers would wear them to keep blood off of
    their feet when working. They eventually transitioned into symbols of aristocracy, nobility, and wealth. So yes, males used to wear high heels, but it females wore them as well at that time, as long as both were rich nobles.
    Also, on a relates note men were the ones who originally "owned" pink, if you will, bc it was seen as a bold and manly color and blue was
    the "girl's color" but that was switched when Hitler labeled the gays for his concentration camps with little pink triangles.
