Some people have said I shouldn't wear make up at this age. Is this true? I don't wear it to be fake or anything, I wear it because I like to put it on, I like glittery stuff on my face and sometimes I get a little insecure of my acne. I wear it lightly as well, not very much and not very often. Is this wrong?

No it's perfectly fine, if you are using it to perk up your appearance don't go overboard, but please do use it how you want. I had my sister put makeup on me and I put on her, I didn't even try and made her look weird af. When she put it on me I looked like a drag queen. I don't think you would even need makeup for a little acne but if you are feeling insecure about it you can use the makeup and use like a facial cleanser or something, I use like Burts Bees and it is meant for acne and has some mild acid and works great on me1

No, I started that at around 13 only to look presentable at different occasions. Overall, don't put it on because of your acne. You have acne because your diet is terrible, and putting on makeup will clog your pores and cause more problems. Lay off the sugar. Properly wash your face, don't scrub it, but light dab at it to pat dry and leave it alone. Love yourself as you are. That is the main thing. People don't want you to be unrealistic. If you overall like it, the do what you do. But never do it because of your acne. Change your habits and I bet you that your acne will disappear. It's not like you have eczema. THEN you have a case.1
