  • I'm a crow when it comes to shopping, so the most important criteria is whether it catches my eye. That's a combination between Design and Material. The second-most important criteria is Practicality/Usefulness (i. e., how likely am I to wear this article of clothing in my day-to-day life?).
If I had to rank all of those, it'd be something like:
    1. Design & Material.
    2. Practicality.
    3. Fit (I have a hard time find clothes that fit me properly, so I've resigned myself to finding the best "possible" fit versus the "ideal" one).
    4. Price.
    5. Brand (this one actually isn't relevant at all).

  • The look, fit and price are the only things that matter to me. I don't really care about the materials used or the brand.

  • Pretty much an equal combo of fit, design, and materials. I'm a picky when it comes to clothing; if it does't look good, feel good, or is uncomfortable I don't buy it.

  • Design is a must, then Fit AND Materials. If I am spending on an expensive item I expect it to look and last as one.
If I am spending on a cheaper brand, and least I want something that looks very good and passes the eye test.
Shoes, is something that I very rarely forgive for a cheaper brand. Especially with high heels, the construction and the finishes are the difference between being able to finish the day just tired or finish the day begging for mercy (and is 4" at least for me so...)

The most important thing when buying clothes is that you feel comfortable with them and of course that you can afford them lol

  • I'll check out the styles first to see if they look good on me & if they fit me.
Then, I'll check the prices to see if I can afford them. If I can't afford them or if they're ridiculously priced, I'll shop around for alternatives.

    • Meh, i did party a lot when i was younger so now i do after work with friends and wedding parties only. Of course i have suits but i do like Adidas a lot.

    • Yeah, I was just kidding

  • Definitely has to be the right fit, then I want a material that will last for at 2 years.

  • I'd say brand but also "Other". I really like lululemon men's pants but I tend to pair them with those $5 Hanes teeshirts (that are like disposable pretty much).

I think that guys going overboard on brand name clothing look stupid tbh
