Are Victoria's Secret models unattractive?
personally Candace and Adriana’s bodies are like goals to me.
videos:
They are attractive but they are somewhat too thin. Let me rephrase that. They are bony and flat. Their magazine fotos are digitally enhanced and in real life, most women with the assets shown in the VS magazines have more padding on them. I barely fit into their bras when I'm at my skinniest, and that's pretty thin. And digitally enhancing someone's curves to me is akin to a lie. That doesn't mean that there aren't women who are thin with curves. It's just their specific bone structure and bodies do not have them, and to pretend they do is false advertising.
However, I will always love how they carry themselves. I love their feminine and girly sexuality. That might not be everyone's cup of tea, but that's how I want to present myself. Even if I'm overweight I'd rather exude Victoria's secret girliness over "mature" appeal. It is really more about this appeal than about the skinniness, but the two are often conflated.
Probably the most ignorant comment I have read on GAG. All magazines are digitally enhanced!
I do not generally think VS models are very attractive. Not that they are ugly (some of them have beautiful faces) I just find them to be far too skinny for my personal taste. I do not mean to say that I do not find fit or slim people attractive, because I do. I just mean VS models achieve a level of thinness that I no longer find attractive. When the body of a model looks like the body of my gangly ten-year-old sister with breasts stuck on it is difficult for me to call that attractive anymore.
I am also somewhat biased on the subject because I believe that glorifying a body type that is unattainable for so many is begging for young girls to develop eating disorders and self-esteem issues.
I am not trying to throw any shade on VS models. Those women work incredibly hard to achieve and maintain their bodies. I just think that VS helps perpetuate an unhealthy body ideal.
So I guess you like the overweight models they now use?
of course they're attractive but they only really represent one body type, tall, broad and a bit masculine. Very few people can actually fit into that style since they don't have the bone structure. I actually find women who are shorter, more feminine and curvier more attractive, i'm thinking about Iskra Lawrence or Scarlett Johanson who have healthy bodies, but don't have that square, amazonian and more masculine look.

There is also an issue with the modelling industry in which women are basically enforced to have eating disorders and starve themselves to achieve a look, this isn't something we should be advocating for.
I think most of the angels are in great shape and look healthy but also super attractive. Some of the models I see in the annual runway show are a tad too skinny for my taste (they aren't my personal body goals) but I don't think that makes them ugly at all. Sometimes people are just naturally super thin but maybe some are training too hard.
I think facewise, most of them are above average or very beautiful. Some of then again are not my type but I don't think they're ugly :)
thank you
im very attracted to em, not to these specifically, but the entire body type
these models are obv more commercial directed, they are ur standard beautiful, most people will think are attractive or at least not hideous
i personally have found out myself over the last couple of years, that im very attracted to high fashion models, the more "odd" looking beautiful
usually girls with certain unique facial fts etc...
there is something about them that makes them so sexy and fierce without really trying, they have a certain thing about them that just sways me away, i could look at them forever
now as for the body comments here, these girls are usually naturally build fit.. I myself am like that too, i dont gain weight easily at all
Ofcourse they do prevention diets too
the entire sum of their "being" is basically why i love them;
the facial fts, the long legs, the special aura etc...
Um... your question is REALLY weird. "Attractive" is completely and totally subjective. There are things in which people find more commonly attracted than others, but it's still completely subjective.
For all I know, to someone out there, a green blob monster with warts all over it's body, bloodshot eyes, and sharp rotten teeth might be their idea of "attractive."
That said, to most people's standards, I think the Victoria Secret models would be considered attractive, but it's not law.
And to me personally, I think they're kind of cute. Most of them are not my personal favorite body type, but I like them still.
Ah, thanks so much for the MHO, haha.
"a green blob monster with warts all over it's body, bloodshot eyes, and sharp rotten teeth" thats the description of the girl my ex dumped me for, I was wondering what he saw in her but now you explained it, he is attracted to her. Thanks!

What's Your Opinion? Sign Up Now!I think most guys like thin and tall girls, those girls were chosen according to "universal beauty standards" (which is made up by the media, in my opinion)
I personally think they look a bit unhealthy.
I don’t think their faces are anything to write home about, but they do have nice bodies
They are attractive. They are thin but some are too thin.
Nice as Spice Model the Underwear, I Swear.
Models are Supposed to be Pencil Thin, The cam Makes you Look Like a Heavy weight. lolxx
I think it's worrying that they're 'goals' to you. Yes, they're attractive, but I don't think it's a good idea to strive to be like them. Beauty is also subjective.
Some are attractive, yes, but since everyone has their own taste and opinions, some are unattractive.
Which is which? It depends on the person.
I don't find them particularly attractive. VS is entirely a cult of skinny + bigger breasts than skinny women normally grow. There's nothing in that world for a person like me. They haven't carried a bra that fit my size breasts in 20 years. It's a product I don't buy, and their models don't represent anything I care about in the world.
To a point I agree. These particular models are digitally enhanced. But there are women who are slim with bigger curves. I also think when you say that there is nothing for you in that world, you fundamentally understand that it's not just about skinniness and breasts but a certain kind of sexuality, which may not appeal to you. That's fair, too. I just think that their appeal is not all about size but about a certain inner quality which you may find hard to muster, but it is one that very much exists and has merit like any other sexuality. To dismiss it that they don't represent anything you care about is like dismissing parts of your inner girlishness that most women possess. There's degrees of course, but it's like you're saying their sexuality is less mature because it is more about teasing and playfulness, and therefore less valid.
Oh, it's not their sexuality I dismiss.
Hm. It sounds like it to me.
They look very attractive to me.
Theyre gorgeous.
I think some have way to thin legs, disproportionate to their full breasts, the girl on the way last picture.
She is laying on her side and her thighs dont touch.
How? Where is gravity and physics?
i'm personally not a fan of their bodies, but i do admire them because i find dedication and discipline towards bettering yourself extremely admirable. even if they aren't my cup of tea, i can't deny it.
However, their faces literally all look the same.
The blondes are one and the brunettes are one.
Oh the same as Asians can get plastic surgery
The same as women can do make up on face to look prettier
The same VS model and any model can do "body make up" to look bigger in some places and skinnier in others 😁 body contouring 😂
So I don't believe they are goals as never seen them in natural look (and yes photos can also lie)
HAHAHAH Yeah... just like Einstein was a dummy and Hitler was a lovely person...
In other words - they're freakin hot... Literal models.
In my opinion they're way hotter than any other model types - just because they're not stick thin.
I dont know, I'd like to be that thin hahah
While it's wholly subjective... I don't think they look attractive generally speaking. I think most victoria secret models look like skin and bones whose only source of nutrition is photoshop. The ones I've seen just don't look like they could possibly be living healthy lives... also they look like the sort of scrawny that wouldn't give good hugs which has always been something important to me and by extension, it's a way I measure attractiveness (that is quality of hugs).
Scrawny? Adriana Lima? I don’t think so.
I had to look up who she was as I know nothing about victoria secret models... and yes I would consider her to be scrawny. Keep in mind, my vision of attractive is what many people would consider to be on the heavier side.
i think some are attractive. i think some are not especially attractive
i do think most of them are too much on the skinny side but it doesn't mean they aren't attractive
Not the only body size I'm into, but yeah I'd say they're attractive. I'm not skinny-shaming lol
they're... camera-ready but they also look fake and unreal and they're drenched in what's trendy and in, there's no uniqueness or expression of personality in these photos
They have beautiful bodies fit to show off the clothing they promote.
Hey, I guess for once I agree with you
Pretty but too thin
Not all of them are attractive.
The ones that not attractive are only models because they are tall and skinny.
In my personal opinion, I think thicker and curvier girls are way more attractive.
They are different to these 'Victoria Secret" models.
For example:
- Jennifer Lopez
- Beyonce
- Rihanna
- Shay Mitchell
- Sofia Vergara
Or some fitness/instagram models:
- Tammy Hembrow
- Hanna Oberg
- Katya Elise Henry
- Karina Elle
