Thanks! This is good to know. At work, I don't know who is actually wearing a base layer or not and it's an awkward question to ask. So it's normal to wear them all day under your work clothes where you are?
It really depends on your office culture and daily tasks. And also your office average temperature. XDWhen I worked in an older building, it was often very cold in mid-winter. So we'd frequently wear thick stockings with dresses or skirts, or thermal layers under our work clothes.At my most recent office, temperature control was fine, but many of us commuted by walk or bike. So if we didn't have client meetings, it wasn't uncommon for us to do the day in our commuting clothes. Especially if we needed to leave early to beat weather events home.If your thermal layers don't overheat you, and they're easily able to go with or be hidden under your office clothes, it's common to keep wearing them.
