As a teenager in the '80s, they were the height of tech cool. Digital, buttons, modes, and water resistant to 200m (not that we could prove it).
Nowadays, if I wrote a watch at all, it would be a classic analogy faced watch.
So you can make of that as you will.

The one in the picture you've posted is the only casio watch I find interesting however, I never bought one because apparently everyone has it. Casio is pretty affordable and I would wear it as a gym watch or on an outdoor activity.
