Hard to pick up color but from what you can see (burnt brown cardigan with plaid black / grey skirt black tights) clash badly or ok?

Personally, I think a lighter-color Cardigan, maybe a 'Cable-knit' style, Irish type, in wool, with large buttons, would be AMAZING with the skirt and dark tights, and your natural complexion.

I think you're onto something there. I can definitely see these colors working well together who knew that brown could look so elegant with this shade of blue.
