I have brown eyes and I normally wear pink, purple, or grey. And then black mascara, black eyeliner (sometimes grey). Also if you apply a white or even light cream color on your inner corners it really makes your eyes pop because the whites look whiter.
I have dark brown eyes too, and I would use dark brown eye liner, with light pink eye shadow and I think it makes my eyes look fine :) oh and ofcourse dark brownish black mascara.
I heard that green shades help bring out the brown in the eyes.
My aunt's a make - up artist and she did a green smoky eye on me. I have dark brown eyes and they looked amazing.
It's more of the colors you use really that make them stand out - greens & golds are usually the way to go as far as eye shadows, and high light with eyeliner on the lower lid to give more dynamic.
There's several techniques that will take a couple answer boxes to describe - but just google basic make - up techniques for brown eyes and you'll get a billion suggestions.
Purples greens and bronze shades...
