Show off, I'm not that superficial. I find men who are okay with themselves impressive, they don't need to "show" me anything because they are wonderful just the way they are. I find men who have a passion and do very well in them very impressive. (It could be a talent, it could be academics, it could be anything, this shows that they are hardworkers and dedicated).

I flex my guns to show them who's boss/to show them I'm able to protect them, not because I'm trying to compensate for something.
I can only speak for myself. When I see a guy do that it's met with an eye roll. Do with that what you will.
if you have to flex them it looks gay but if they put their hand on you, or hug you if you tense up your muscles a bit it makes you feel even more ripped than you are (and I hear that's fairly attractive, being strong)

As long as you're not being overly arrogant or douchey, they will like it. They giggle because girls tend to become bashful and timid when a hot guy shows his body off to them. If they blush and laugh, you're doing something right. And what they find impressive is sincerity and confidence - just being yourself.
