Alright thanks for answering. Got two quick questions though. Firstly, do you think that the actual approaching is the thing that shows confidence, or whether the guy gets nervous or not during the talk? Secondly, what do you define as jokes? Teasing, witty comments, something else?
A man walking up to me when he knows he may be rejected? That's confident all the way. He may stumble over his words, but the fact that he had the balls to approach says more.And yes: teasing, witty comments and the like.
Erm... I guess I'd laugh, say "Hey that's mine" and try to take it back (which obviously allows me to touch her).
just curious case I did that to my crush playfully and he just remained cool so im not sure...

That's debatable. I think girls' "borders" are a bit more strict, whereas guys are a bit more "allowing" in that regard.
So there's not any specific way in which you'd want him to express those feelings?
