I just wanted to add something to #5. Imagine your man was mouse-sized and you would often hold him or play with him. If your man was scared when you pick him up or hold him, that is bad, but if your man would feel totally confident and safe with his life literally in your hands, that is good. A real man's emotions are like a tiny man. Guys are reserved and guarded because they don't want to get hurt, but the point of being in love with a woman is that we need her to be for us like the loving hands of a giantess who holds us, supports us, and cares for us and that we have no fear from.
8. Keep in mind guys are action-oriented. Sometimes women like to share upsetting thoughts just to unload and your man should be there for you for that. You know, you just want to hear "I hear you." or "I understand." and that's goid enough for a woman. Younger guys don't realize this, so when a woman is unloading, many men really hear "She's got a problem and needs my advice or help on how to fix it." and he promptly offers that advice even though you don't want it. It makes you more upset, he's confused and an argument ensues. So, if you just need to vent, if your guy doesn't understand this about women, you should vent to a sympathetic girlfriend. If you have a real problem and seek his advice or help, then, by all means, talk to him and he will feel good to help you.
