  • I don't even get compliments from women, let alone cat called. I myself also have never cat called a woman. But I do think this is one thing women don't realize about cat calling. Us men don't get cat called, most of us don't even get compliments from women. So to a lot of us we are fully open to both of them. We just see it as nice to get some attention for one and even if some see it as offensive it's just funny to us. I think that's why a lot of men cat call, because we don't get a lot of attention from women like that and it is nice if we did so we just assume that women would feel the same way about it. But apparently not.

  • So, I'm trans. I was born female and raised as a girl for 16 years. I came out and started my transition 5 years ago, and I pass as a guy now. Anyway, I got catcalled before I came out. After I started passing as a guy, not only have I not been catcalled once, but guys are just more respectful in general.

  • Men have such cute butts. I screamed out my car window a week ago at a stoplight - FINE ass whiteboy jogging - he was jogging in place waiting to cross, and I yelled out with starbucks in my hand, "Ill take some of DAT ASS with my coffee!" It was so loud and clear that the guy in the car next to us, started laughing. The Fine Ass Whiteboy didn't have headphones and had to stop jogging, he was laughing so hard.

  • I accidentally did once when I was like 16 😅. We had an inside joke with my friend that was saying 'Pretty... wait for me!'.
So once I was on the street on my own and in a very playful mood, I was listening to some hyped song and sang a little 'handsome... Wait for me!' at some good looking guy that was walking by... I didn't realise it slipped until he turned around looking very confused lol.

  • Yes, I've been cat called and sexually harrased by many girls. It's not something guys are allowed to talk about, so very few do. I've had my ass grabbed clothing pulled on, and various verbal things. I hope people will one day realize it's not just a female issue

  • I'm not brave enough to cat call anyone. But I've checked out guys a lot though and gave them smiles if I thought they looked good.

However, my boyfriend has been cat called a few times 🙄 even had this girl came up to him once and tell him that her friend thought he was hot lol

  • i just got catcalled for the first time about two weeks ago, i was walking through a shopping plaza parking lot to my car and three guys in a car had stopped after they passed me and began shouting for me to come to their car. it’s a crowded parking lot so it didn’t scare me cause they couldn’t have done anything when i ignored them, but still creepy nonetheless lol

  • Yes I have hollered at a construction crew with several of my friends when I was a teenager. It was a bunch of old men working, one man was bent over working with butt crack exposed while we were driving by so we all hollered out at them " ow baby" drunken and stoned stupidity of a hot summer day in small town southern USA with nothing better to do laughing our asses of fun

  • I don't feel the need to talk to strangers in general. Definitely not cat call them.

Seems accurate that most men liked being cat called or wouldn't mind if someone did. No wonder they don't understand why women don't like it.

  • When I’m driving my motorcycle I get cat called a lot.

In person it’s more subtle like “Damn” or “Oh sh*t..”.

  • Plenty of times when I was in high school. Mostly by older men and women who I don't think realized I was in high school. I wore NSUs as I went to Naval school, which prompted a lot of flirty calls based around it ("oh, I like a man in uniform" type stuff)

Was kind of confidence boosting as I didn't really consider myself attractive

  • Are you kidding me?

Women are aggressive as hell today. I have been catcalled by women ( young an old) , been grabbed a few times , ha them start honking their horn at me from their cars , and I have had a few female coworkers blatantly eye fuck me. A lot of this started after I had lost weight and began lifting. At first it was nice but it gets old after a while.

    • It probably gets annoying too. However if they grabbed you that should be considered harassment. I could understand them freely saying you have a nice ass. However if they start grabbing you inappropriately; then you should file a restraining order against those co workers if they grab you.

    • @Loadedgamer ohh common saying that you have nice ass is sexual harasment to xD

  • Yes I've been in the past year :
In club three times ( once by 2 girls even ) , once in a bar
Once on the street bus stop or twice i can't remember
does online count if yes twice?
Once in starbucks by some hot MILF she did touch me few times like im 24 she was like 30-34 and no it was not an accident she wanted some touch back, and she got it later that night ;) , weve been fuck buddies for 6 months
I think thats all i can remember :)

  • Yes. I've also been sexually assaulted by having my crotch grabbed by female strangers a handful of times.

    Literally PTSD since then.

    • I mean someone grabbing your junk is wrong, but it shouldn’t give you a traumatic stress disorder unless you were at the age of 5-9 years old when it happened.

  • I have been. It made me blush. I took it as a compliment.

  • Nope. I find it highly disrespectful and a complete turn off. So if it makes me feel that way why would I ever do that to someone else. If I'm interested in a guy I'll go talk to him and be respectful instead of cat calling.

    • Completely unrelated question to @imgudluv: Do they teach you to roll up a boot sock to use in forming your daily buns? I ask because that's how female Marines are taught to do their buns in boot camp.

  • Yep, when I was a teenager (apparently I was prettier then). Also would have my ass slapped by girls in school (guess they thought it was funny to do that to the shy kid).

  • A lot maybe I don't know but "hey sexy" I get that a lot from someone crusing on me. at least she don't do that way too often because I know that would be annoying. I wouldn't consider that as catcall like how whiny feminists consider it to be. Oh it wouldn't be acceptable to be mad over it because you guessed it. I'm a guy. It's only a cat call if it's done by girls. SMH.

    • I've been catcalled a lot, especially when i was in my teens by girls at my school. Still happens from time to time but i always enjoy it.

The difference is also that a woman can feel threathened when men do this because we are physically stronger. Which is why i never do it

    • A women tells you, “hey you have a nice ass”. That is an example of catcalling. However people like you see it as double standards. Catcalling however shouldn’t effect men or women because it’s just a person expressing his opinion towards your appearance.

    • Show All
    • that doesn’t mean you have to use guys as in all guys based on your context. Just because you didn't have any experience with it. Doesn’t mean all guys don’t get catcalled. However catcalling shouldn’t even be serious unless it gets to the point someone’s inappropriately touching you.

    • @Loadedgamer I never said that it's not possible. I had no idea women can do things like these.
I have never heard about a guy getting catcalled before this. So don't blame me.

  • Catcalling is wrong, whether a guy does it or girls. I don't even give stares at guys outside let alone catcalling them lol. If I had the power then I would break a guy's jaw if he catcalled me.

I live in a safer area of the city and my daily routine is just going to class in my car yet sometimes I had dudes from other vehicles singing irritating songs and I realize that its being directed at me and sometimes they make me even more uncomfortable by purposely saying stuff loudly like 'its that girl, in that red car right there'. Tinted car windows are banned in our country (unless a car comes with tinted windows by itself) if it wasn't I would request my dad to tint his car windows or something so that no one can see me from outside.
