Ladies of G@G , what is the difference between aggressive flirting and more subtle flirting?

I feel like flirting that leaves the girl room to choose to continue on in the conversation without addressing the flirting is subtle enough. For instance:

"Hey baby, you're like my big toe, because I'm going to bang you on every piece of furniture I own" kind of leaves her to make a split-second decision on whether she wants to shoot you down or reciprocate. Meanwhile, subtly teasing could be part of a normal conversation.

Does that make sense?

I think subtle is just flirting, more aggressive would involve physical cues as well.
