A seeder is someone who has the file you're trying to download. You download that file, or parts of it, by getting those files from a seeder through your torrent program. The more seeders there are, the faster your download speed will be. Also, the more seeders there are, the more likely it is the file is legitimate instead of a virus. All torrent websites should list how many seeders there are for a file on that page. You want a low seed to leech ratio. A leecher is someone who doesn't seed...
...after they've finished their download. Instead they shut down their torrent program and no one else trying to download the file can copy from them. Always seed to 100% when you download a torrent. You can be banned from websites for leeching.
Ok I see were they are what's the difference between seeders and leechers
As I explained, a seeder is someone who has left their program open so other people can copy parts of the file from them. A leecher is someone who closes it as soon as they've finished downloading instead of leaving their program open so others can copy their files. Ideally, once you've finished downloading your file, you should leave your program open and let it seed until it reaches 100% or 1.000. That means that 100% of the file you downloaded has been copied by other people at least once.
Ok I got it... I saw your comment after I made my comment so sorry for making you rewrite that all over again
