I'm brown btw.
If you're mixed, why wouldn't your dad and sister approve of it?
Since I'm half black, he wants me to date black guys. I know it's stupid but it's just the way he thinks, and that's the same for my sister.
thats happens more than you would think actually. I've known mixed people with parents who don't support them dating one race or another. I've also known of parents who don't want their kids being with guys of the same race... O.o
@Question AskerThat's sad and doesn't make sense.
@Question AskerAnd I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one in this situation. :)
Yeah I'm black and my mom isn't against it but she prefers that I have kids with someone who isn't black. And she's happy all I seem to date are guys outside my race. Kinda messed up lol
Yes, it is. LOL
Yeah lol by the way your family should be grateful you're like that. I don't think I ever gave my parents the satisfaction of obeying on something like this. They like some of my decisions but I always do my own thing. I'm my own person and I live for myself, if I'm not happy with my life at the end of the day I'm the one who has to deal with the unrest in my heart. Whether it's who you love or some ambition you have in life, you shouldn't let the approval of family hold you back. Just my opinion...
I agree with you. But I'm more concerned about the fact that maybe white guys aren't attracted to me.

LOL what the hell? Below you on the social ladder? I think nowadays there is no social ladder based on race or ethnicity.
(And by the way in case you're wondering I didn't thumb you down.)
