How to approach a guy?

I'm really shy and it's this cute Alpha that I've been crushing on for about 2 years. My friends suggest that he may like me too because he's always staring and doing other obvious things to get my attention.

I feel like they maybe wrong because he's never approached me but they suggested he may want me to approach him.

I get really tongue tied around him and it's going to be pretty awkward to just walk up and be like "Hey! How's it going?"

How do you guys think I should approach him?

try to find something casual and normal to the situation to say . Hi , do you know what time is it , isn't a good thing when there's a big watch in the classroom for example :p " Hi do you have a sheet of paper for me " could be better ;-)

so it all depends on the time and situation. It's easier when you go out and see hem there . Then you can say" hey didn't I see yo ubefore , oh yeah , I did , but I can't remember your name" and so the convo starts :D
