I always hear people say, " I have a huge crush on someone, but I can't talk to them."

So my question is, can people actually start a relationship with someone they have had a crush on for a long period of time?

I'm sure it can happen, but I've personally never heard of it.

yup. I had the biggest crush on this guy who sat in front of me in 18th century fiction. he gave the most interesting answers. I didn't even know what he looked like...but I DID have the back of his head memorized lol. I literally had to hit him on the head to get him to notice me. :p

  @update: well...sort of. I did hit him in the back of the head with my pen. and then he made a comment about me always going against his answers hehe. so we started talking like that, and he asked me out 2 weeks later.

I had this gigantic crush on this guy, I heard that he liked me back but I wasn't that sure... Then one day he smiles at any and we stared talking... A few months passed, we exchanged glances and then he added me on Facebook, and we talked on there. Then he said hey to me in study hall, the conversations got longer, and at a sporting event he asked me out.. It was perfect!
