I definitely think it's OK. I mean, I honestly don't see what's wrong with the girl doing that except for the fact that it makes the guy look like a p****. But, at the same time, being a guy, you are not 100% sure of what the girl might be feeling or thinking, so you just wait it out until it is more out there and comfortable in your mind to go for it, but this will definitely be a nice surprise to see you are that interested in him and that confident.

Of course it's okay, lol. I've asked out a couple guys, but got rejected when I did. It happens though, no point in dwelling on it. =] It won't stop me from trying again in the future though if the situation arises.

I've asked guys out before and never had a bad experience with it. Most guys appreciate that you're willing to take initiative and ask him out.

It's totally okay. In the past I've thought nothing of it, and unless I have a legitimate reason to say no, I'm willing. Granted, I don't always go into it with a "this is a date mentality"...
