Have you ever feel like your crush and your close friend is slowly getting together no matter what you do?

This happened to me before. One of the most popular guys in school (and hottest :D) ended up liking me and telling all of his friends. His friends told me and I ended up texting him. The first night we texted, we were flirting like crazy, but I was kind of self conscious at the time so I would always say no to dates. Sometimes I would ignore him (when I got self conscious) but when we would text he would always tell me how beautiful I was and stuff. I showed the messages to my best friend and she seemed happy for me, so I'd keep showing her. But then one day she told me she had liked him for a really long time (Which she hadn't because she told me everything, and we had been friends for 3 years... she just didn't want me to date him because he was popular and she was jealous). So somehow she stole his number from my phone and ended up texting him from her phone saying it was me. She texted him saying that he should never talk to me again, and all this other stuff (BTW it was my birthday!) The next day I texted him and found out, and told him it wasn't true, then she sent a pic of his abs to me :D. So I showed her twin sister and then my friend got SUPER pis*ed! So she kept texting him and sen him pictures of herself in bikinis and stuff. I really don't know if he had texted her or not.

Then one night we kissed, nothing fancy, just a little kiss. She was SO mad, that he kissed me and not her. By this time I was done with her bull sh** anyways so I kind of laughed about it. But then she started spreading rumors that her and him made out at Water world or something (idk why she would choose a kids' water park to make up). I knew it wasn't true though because water world is like 3 hours away from where we live, and we weren't old enough to drive then, so why would either of their parents drive them there when neither of them were even allowed to date? But then she started telling everyone that I was a b***h and stole her boyfriend or whatever.We were friends off and on again for a couple months, and this whole thing kept going on. So I finally decided that I was done.

I remember crying all the time though because I was worried he would end up choosing her. In the end though, neither of us had him. I realized he was a player and wasn't worth my time, and she ended up causing so much drama that he didn't want a thing to do with either of us. Sooooo... the whole thing was a waste of my time and tears, and cost me a best friend (which turned out to be for the better).

I still don't know their whole relationship, but if someone ever did that to me again, I would just try to get them faster than the other girl just to make her jealous.

if my crush liked my friend as much as my friend liked him, then I won't stand in the way of that. because it's not easy to find someone that likes you as much as you like him, so when 2 people get that chance, I'm not going to get in the way.

and besides, he doesn't like me, he likes her and nothing I say or do is going to change that. so time for me to exit the picture

no, and I hope I never experience that. If I do, however, I would try get over him and let my friend have him, even if it hurts. (though I'd secretly hope she'd get over him as well.)
