8 months "talking" what does he want?

So, I have been talking to this guy for about 8 months straight now...

and I literally talk to him everyday.. and when I mean talk.. we text

annoying as it is. we communicate mostly in that manner. He has called before, but it isn't as frequently as I would like.

We have only seen each other a couple of times and we communicate on a regular basis..

he is the one ALWAYS contacting me first "good morning" "good night"

we are from the same city, but I go to a different college that is about an hour and thirty minutes away.

he sweet talks me and makes "plans" but sometimes doesn't fall through.

What the heck is up with this guy? ya whatever he says he "likes" me, but what is his main motive? we live a good distance, he is extremely attractive, so why continue talking if nothing is going to happen..

when he claims that he wants me to be his gf?

Some guys are good at talking, others are good at doing. He's definitely more of a talker. Probably likes the sound of his own squeal, you should find someone who prefers hearing yours.

  probably right. but I am sure that other people give him attention. SO , why bother? if that makes any sense. why talk about things that you weren't going to do? that sort of thing.

  Men love female attention. And he talks about those things to keep you interested. Think about it. After all what else is there to say? He just making conversation for the sake of conversation. Meanwhile your getting attached at some level.

  ya I get that...so he wants me to be attached to him so I give him attention but doesn't like me in any way shape or form? Ya it is hard to see things when you are in the situation but that makes sense too.

  ya in a sense it would make it real, but why say it if you don't want it to happen? unless he was just wanting sex or attention or both. I literally do not know what to do.

  Np. Again do what works for u. If you have no time to meet then that is your answer. Just don't sit there and have some invisible dude occupy your precious mind. That's just nuts IMO.

one word. bullsh*ting. take it how it is but he's playing you. I would know. I did the same thing when I was younger in high school. =/ not proud of that though lol

Maybe he's nervous about actually doing something, because then that would make it real or some stupid crap like that. I would suggest confronting him on this if it bothers you that much. By telling him that if he's that interested he should do something about it or knock it off.

ya... well he made plans with me to see me today...but I ended up having work all day today and tomorrow is the same deal..then I head back to college and then I am back again for a month for my winter break... but It is just getting to the point ...like..what is this?

So... Why don't you just demand him to come out with it already. To do something or p*ss off? If he's not gonna do something, then why not take matters into your own hands?
