okay, start with a "Hi", see if she says it back.

If she does say, "Hey, you know I missed talking to you."

See her response, if she says something like, "Me too" then reply with,

"I feel like we should get to know each other better, so let me start," and tell her something about yourself that she doesn't know.

You have to initiate the more personal questions with starting with something about you, but don't start out with too personal like a deep, dark secret.

Just something you might only tell a number of people and might be a little kept quiet about but if someone knows it's not that big a deal.

Then jokingly say, "Your turn. lol." something light you know to show you're teasing a little and let her reply. Hopefully the more you talk the more she'll tell but don't try to force anything out of her.

I think that you need to say it in a way that lets her know you were thinking about her but that you weren't/aren't obsessing over her.

Try::

"We stopped talking at a bad time for me, and I wish that you could have helped me with it." or "Even though there was a while that we didn't talk, I don't feel like there's been any difference."

Also, try and bring it up casually.
