Looks don't mean sh*t in making friends.

There's a kid at my college with a deformed face who is loved by most the people on campus - because he is really sweet and has a ton of personality.

You make friends because you click on the same emotional / mental / social level as someone else - not the same physical level.

Try being more expressive of your personality - and don't get all egotistical in thinking your so unbelievably hot that people are intimidated to be your friend.

No. You probably just come off as having no character if your not as interactive as you could be.

The only thing hotness is intimidating for is usually dating - not friending.

So stop hiding behind this " my hotness is intimidating -" and figure out what the honest problem is.

Sounds majorly like you wait for people to talk or interact with you first all the time - don't do that.

You want friends - you have to open yourself up to the people around you and sort through them until you find a good amount you truly get along with.

No, not necessarily. it should be easy for you to get friends, maybe they are waiting for you to ask them to be your friend. And for those who think they aren't as attractive as you, just give them encouragement. everyone is beautiful in thier own way. for me, I'm not as pretty as a barbie doll (ugh) but I'm also not as ugly as a frog. my beauty comes from the art I create, and the way I can set a happy mood among friends and strangers when I'm outside. I only have a few close friends, and that's it. I'm not too social, but I'm OK with it, I like to have close friends, not acquaintances. Just make sure that you don't accidentally say or do things that make others look smaller than you, or not as good as you are. give people confidence, compliment thier specialties. just don't get too friendly, makes anyone look like a creeper. lol.

No of course not but instead of waiting for people to get comftorable try putting yourself out there a little show the real you especiall if you're goofy or something. Oh and don't let some jealous people kill your confidence if you're hot you're hot its not like you can help it. lol its called genetics

Great look, bad personality? Solution: switch it around. Change your hairstyle and style of clothes, ie.e. wear something you wouldn't normally wear. As for personality, show more of your weakness and deny yourself that your attractive. If you act more human, then you won't be "intimidating", and you could actually be more "attractive".

Looks can only get you so far, for example: there is a girl at my school and she is stunning however she is dull and boring because of that nobody really hangs out with her. So basically try developing a fun personality.

I was in the same position as you at the beginning of the year. some people are just intimidated by good looks, but you just need to show them that you're awesome as a person as weel, and people will lighten up. BEst of luck! xx
