Girls, have you ever given a guy a fake phone number?

My phone number has never been requested from a guy, but if it was I would either give it to him if I was interested, or I would tell him that I'm not interested. I would feel bad for giving him a fake and possibly getting his hopes up. I know, I know, I'm just too damn nice... :-p Maybe this is why nobody has ever asked for my phone number before, haha

i think only once when this guy wouldn't leave me alone I was at work and he was telling me about his company and how he wanted me to work there and stuff and it was just creepy and sketchy and I had to help other customers at work and he kept bothering me and telling me about his company and he said give me your number I will give you more information so I thought what a better way to get rid of him than to give him a fake number so I just wrote whatever and never saw him again thank god

to be honest yes I have but I had reasons...I could tell that the guys who were hassling me for my number wanted other things from me and I just didn't feel comfortable...so to stop them hassling just give them a fake number.

Ofcourse not. I'd rather say "I'm sorry. I don't want to give you my number" instead of misleading them. A lot of girls think it's funny or harmless but I have seen guy friends who got hurt. Leading people on is not a joke.
