Okay first, girls don't go for the outside but for the inside. I am not saying you have to stop trying to look nice and clean but try to be confident. Second, girls like guys that are confident or have humour. They have this 'air' around them that makes them attractive.

The first thing you need to do: Make her notice you. Try to make eye contact every time you see her. In the hall way, in class, lunch break, trip etc. If you have the eye contact break it of after 5/10 seconds. Look away for 5 seconds and look again. Then smile.If she is looking at you, you're in. Don't be nervous if she smiles back, this means she is a friendly girl.

If it doesn't work: Try to be close to her. No like sticking to her like glue but more like sitting next to her. Then, just softly brush your elbow (or your hand) on her. A soft touch makes contact. if she looks at you, smile. Try to walk or stand close to her and laugh with guys. Not about some childish joke but smile because you have fun.

Second: Make contact. The easiest way is to add her to Facebook. If she accept, you will know she noticed you. If not, try the next thing: Try to pick up some things she likes in a conversation she is having with her friends. For example, what she did in the weekend or her favorite food. Try to find things in common so that you can prepare for the next step.

Third: Talk. As I said earlier, girls like guys with confidence so, if you are ready, talk to her. Try to get her alone. Or with two/three friends. Alone is easier because you can just talk with her. Don't try to brag about who you are but try to ask her some questions. If you talk to her with her friends be sure to have just as much friends as she has as your friends so they can talk to each other and you can talk to her. Do not be hasty. It is a great experience to meet new people and most people are nervous about it so take your time and go slowly.

Fourth: Ask her out. This takes a lot of time. You need to become friends but not too close friends as she goes hugging you, it's over. But when you finally have the inpression you know enough about her and she knows enough about you, you ask her out.

If you get rejected, don't be too upset. This is also a way to make her notice you. She will think about you in a different way. The day after rejection, please act as normal as possible. Just act like you never confessed to her at all.

After a while: if you succeed, then let her read the poems. You will scare girls if you just give them poems and letters in which you declare you love for her. What you can do is: send a anonymous letter and later if she dates you, you say that letter was yours, she will like it!

First off, do you actually know her? If not, introduce yourself! I know you're shy and it might be hard, I'm shy too so I can relate, but you have to take the chance! The guy I like is shy and I think he likes me back but is too shy to do anything about it, and you know what? That's annoying to girls. Shy guys are okay, but not when they're too shy to make a move! Sorry if that sounded a bit harsh but you have to make a move. Don't worry about your weight, unless she's stuck up, she won't really care. First just try to get to know her, show you how sweet you are, but without getting stuck in the darn friend zone, so flirt a bit too! And compliment her. Try to notice things about her that is different. Like, "did you do something with your make up today? It looks nice". You don't have to be just a girl or a gay guy to tell a difference in her face, and she'll love that you were able to notice something like that. My friends are always happy and surprised when I notice stuff like that about them, and my karate instructor, who's a guy, notices stuff about girls and when he notices that my hair is straighter that day because I took more time in the morning to straighten it, it's awesome. Try not to fear rejection, if she rejects you, then it's her loss because you seem like a really nice guy. Just try to get up the nerve to talk to her! Or if you guys know each other, talk over fb until you feel more comfortable talking with her and feel less shy. Hope this helped!

Don't do the poem thing just yet. Get to know her better and show her that you're a good guy first. Don't worry about all of that other stuff, if she likes you then none of that will matter. You can add her on Facebook and talk there if you want. But the more you put yourself in a position where she knows you better, the better it will be for you when you do make a move. Also, get her to laugh.

Ask her out. And if you're scared of humiliation then do it somewhere where she's alone and nobody can hear. If she says no, then she wasn't worth it. And before you ask her out let her get to know you! If she judges what she sees on the outside, then she may say no. Talk to her more and be her friend.
