does anyone know how to make a good sweet and sour sauce for a stir fry?

  • Best way is to go into a Chinese restaurant and ask. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to cook you up some and bottle it (possibly for free)

    The recipie is :-

    Water
    Cornstarch
    Tomato ketchup
    White vinegar
    Soy sauce
    White sugar

      Good guide there. One thing to note, after you've made the sauce, don't add it in to whatever you're frying (pork, chicken etc.) until the last moment, else it'll burn quick.

  • Honey and orange juice, with a little crushed red pepper, also known as orange sauce. I make my own usually, not a big fan of store processed food.
