Foods you thought you'd hate but ended up loving?

I'd say "feijoada". I tried it when I went to Brazil (my dad's home country) last year. It's a bean broth with sausages, bacon, and some other ingredients. It's usually served together with rice, greens and (more?) meat. When I saw it I instantly thought I'd hate it but when I tried I ended up loving it. Did it ever happen to you?

  • Turtle soup. Didn't think I'd like it. To this day, it's still the best thing I have ever tasted.
