Kettles and egg cups, do most American households have these?

In the UK most houses have a kettle in the kitchen and we use egg-cups, I read online that its not the same in the USA, is this true?

P. S if it is.. what the hell do you do to hold boiled eggs?

  • We have both and I live in America, but my family is Indian so we may not be an accurate representation of "America" in a sense. I use the egg cups to eat hard-boiled eggs sometimes, but usually Ill just shove the entire egg in my mouth haha!

  • I have a kettle but no egg cups. We just put peeled boiled eggs on a plate with other food or in a bowl

  • US citizen here, I don't like tea or boiled eggs so I don't have either of those things. I love coffee though, I have a coffee/espresso maker.
