I'd like to try to make some Indian dishes... but I'd like to know which are the 3 most basic, most used spices in the Indian cuisine!

  • turmeric, cumin, coriander seeds.. these three are basically used in every kind of curry and cuisine. along with that you have to use onion, garlic and ginger too. with that you can use other hot spices too.

    • You're seriously missing out. England created a monstrous economy driven solely by the flavors and spices of India and to this day, Chicken Tikka Masala is England's official dish. Just try it once -- go to an Indian place, order Chicken Tikka Masala (or Butter Chicken) and an order of naan. If you don't like it, it's on me and I'll find a way to make it up to you.

      I absolutely love naan and butter chicken! I eat naan with butter chicken.. twice a week! You should also try Chicken tikka masala, Harra bhara chicken or maybe Kolhapuri chicken sometime ๐Ÿ™‚ I bet you'll love it! ๐Ÿ˜„
