- It will make you drunk enough to numb your pain :D
Can drinking a glass of red wine possibly help with a cold?

if i didn't have to work tomorrow id drink a glass or 2 i have a cold too
Not in any medicinal sense other than it might just make you feel a bit better because you enjoy it. Still, if you want to believe that it helps then y'know, anything that gets you through that bottle :P lol
I don't know if wine would be much help when you have a cold. When I have a cold I have a hot rum toddu just before getting in bed. Just get a large coffee mug, add 2 or 3 ounces of rum, a good portion of honey and lemon juice then fill with boiling water & drink it while it's still good and hot. The lemon and honey open the nasal passages, the water hydrates you and the rum and it's fumed make you drowsy and help you get to sleep.
Definitely not. Everyone has alcohol intolerance to some extent, but for many, it's bad enough that it actually causes congestion, particularly in the nose. If you're already congested, this definitely will not help.
No alcohol dehydrates u which makes colds worse, try lots of veggies, garlic and apple cider vinegar in water to make ur body more alkaline and avoid meat, dairy and sugar when ur sick
It can ease some of the symptoms, similar to alcohol-based medicines like Nyquil.
Alcohol is a great disinfectant. Things like grogs or hot wine have been used for centuries to cure colds.
no but it will sure as hell make you not care as much
It might taste great but it doesn't make you healthier.
It will make you drunk enough to numb your pain 😃 I think
No, because to get wings I heard you have to drink Red Bull.
No. It won't help. You need to drink more water if anything.
I've always heard that tea was good for a cold
You don't know until you try
Yes with a lot of sleep
being drunk will probably numb the feeling
I'm not really sure perhaps it might help
Ask a doctor?
It will more likely slow down your immune system
lol I don't know

I mean, I doubt it, but a hot toddy might help you sleep.
No, but you might forget you are sick.
Why not try tea instead
Possible but I've never heard the logic behind that one before
Yes, in several ways. It's slightly hydrating. The tanic acids help wash away that "cold crud" from the mouth. And it is mildly analgesic and calms coughs slightly.
I wouldn't say it's very effective in any regard, but it's not like it's bad either. Certainly it should not be mixed with some other medications, but what the heck. If it makes you feel better, do it.
