Should I have a glass of wine or beer the night before my marathon?

My mom is taking me out to an early dinner at 5 and I usually like to have a glass or two of wine or beer before a race.

But do you think wine or beer is worse/better? I don't want to dehydrate or wake up feeling sluggish

  • Water helps hydrate you... alcohol on the other hand doesn't really help for a marathon... it can cause dehydration.
