If you are going to combine it with water I think 1 lemon with water is enough. When you drink water - its probably better if you aren't drinking only lemon water. A family member is a doctor and he says any extreme is bad - even healthy extremes. He had one patient who ate lots of ginger thinking it was healthy and he had health problems from eating too much ginger. He had another patient who had health problems from using too much healthy food that they bought from the nutrition store. She was a model in her younger years and thought nutrition food from the nutrition store would be better then regular food and it got to the point where she could no longer digest ordinary food because her body was so used to eating healthy food from the nutrition store.
