What is your favorite meal your mom cooks?

My mom's spaghetti and meatballs and breaded eggplant are to die for. If you don't have a mom then dad or any other close relative works too.

  • I'm Italian so my mom's spaghetti is up there by default. My favorite non Italian meal is roast beef with carrots and potatoes cooked in a crockpot.

  • *"Chole Bhature"* is a dish from the Punjabi cuisine, is a combination of chana masala (spicy white chickpeas) and bhatura, a fried bread made from maida flour (soft wheat).

Chole Bhature is often eaten as a breakfast, sometimes accompanied with lassi, however it can also be a street food or a complete meal, and may be accompanied by, for example, onions, carrot pickle.

  • I don't have a favorite meal by mom or dad, since I started cooking. My family established that I'm the best chef in the family. So, yeah, I cook and they eat.
