Is it possible to make s'mores on a propane barbeque?

currently there is a fire ban in my area and I am wondering if there is a way I can roast marshmallows to make s'mores all i have is a propane barbeque and nothing else Is it possible to make s'mores on a propane barbeque?

  • Of couse you can. You can do them in the oven too. It's just more fun with an open fire, and the marshmallows don't catch on fire and turn black

  • No, the fire from propane won't get hit enough to melt it.

    • Sorry I expected somebody to chime in by now...
      A propane grill can get 300F fairly easily, about 3x the heat needed to melt chocolate or marshmallow.

      It won't be the same experience as doing it over a campfire naturally, but it can be done yes.

  • Probably if not a hand torch will work
