When a restaurant job says “work today, get paid tomorrow” do they really mean that we get paid tomorrow?

So I got a new job at Wendy’s today as not really the cashier, but I do multiple jobs so I guess you could say I’m a crew member. The question above pretty much explains it all, the restaurant reader board literally says “work today get paid tomorrow!” so I was just wondering if that is what they really mean. I just want to know since I plan on getting a credit card soon and I need to provide my bank a payment stub from work showing that I get an income. Thanks!

  • I used to get paid daily tax free. Things have changed a lot. That or it’s because I wasn’t 18.
