Pasta carbonara is actually simple but getting it just right without curdling the eggbased sauce is difficult have to get the timing and temperatures just right

It's not hard to cook anything. Cooking is very flexible. Unless you mean baking, baking is about precision because it's all science. Macaron's are pretty hard to bake because to make them perfect, they must have no cracks at all and have an even shape.
Baking is difficult. Measurements and methods have to be exactly correct or it fucks up, lol.
