Is a 507 calorie smoothie a lot when trying to gain weight?

  • It takes 3500 hundred calories to gain a pound + the calories you burn daily. You want a well balanced diet with protein, fat, carbs, & fiber. You don't say what's in the smoothie so I don't know if that's a healthy 507 calories, try putting some protein powder in your smoothies and have a good daily exercise program.

  • On its own, no. Plus also needs to be looking at overall diet plan, and exercise regime. You don't just want to put on fat ideally, and if you're exercising you need higher calories than what you work out.
