I spent a couple of years working in the kitchen of a large Cantonese restaurant, and a Hong Kong dim sum restaurant, when I was in Australia, and both of them served authentic Chinese food. (Authentic Chinese food is more popular and more accessible in Australia than in the United States, no doubt due to Australia's geographical location and its historically strong trade ties with Asia)Therefore, given my years working in those restaurants, I can say that I am quite proficient in 粵菜. But I also quite enjoy 浙菜. I like making dim sum by hand, especially 虾饺.I generally enjoy eating a lot of fresh green leafy vegetables, which is very abundant in authentic Chinese cuisine.I have tried eating American Chinese cuisine, but it is far too sweet for my taste. And it lacks variety as well.
Every time I read your words and experiences, I just wanna say Wow! Too impressive😄 And sounds like you enjoy more about South China😁
Well, I worked in a Cantonese restaurant and a dim sum restaurant, so yes :D I became more experienced in Southern Chinese cuisine. 粵菜 is more popular in Australia and the US, compared to others.
I like biang biang mian. Also 宮保雞丁
Also 紅豆粥。and 麻婆豆腐。and 炸醬麵. And 豆花 and 愛玉 and 腸粉 and so many more lol
Omg I forgot 西安涼脾
i mean 涼皮 lol
I don't think so, not to my knowledge at least. We are big on Thai-food restaurants here in Sweden, and I do love food like that, but I have a hard time telling the difference. The only Asian food I can distinguish is Japanese cuisine like Sushi.
Hope one day you can have a try in China😊
you mean authentic in China? Right? Because in the West it has been westernised.
Oh yeah this question probably should be Have you ever been to China😅😂
I guessed it. The answer would be no then. But I would very much like to try.
Looking forward to your coming☺️
haha that will take a while. I have no idea where to go and wtf to do. My primary interest in foreign countries is always history.
Yes. I don’t know the names of the dishes though. Literally everything I had in china was soooooo good.
I don't think I have. I'm pretty sure you have to go to China to find it
There's a Chinese restaurant opposite the street :DI like anything with Bami or Nasi, to name two things I know well...
