@Hans222 yes! that sounds like a wonderful idea :)
Let's book a table for... half a million people. Will you make the call sis? :D
@Hans222 haha i guess someone has to do it 😋
What is that?
www.just-eat.co.uk/.../menuUnder 'Burgers'.£12.95And £14.95 (Chicken).
That's quite a burger
I meant it
its made out of plants
@SarahsSummer so why dont they just call it a veggie burger ffs... anyway its still shit being peddled by the man so even though i am veggie i won't be stopping off there too soon
Because it tastes exactly like and has a texture exactly like and it "bleeds" exactly like a real beef burger. So much like a real burger that it seems "impossible" to be made from plants.
@SarahsSummer sounds disgusting... see what i dont get is its like since i went refuned sugar free i noticed that stood in line at a grocery store all the chocolate bars and sweets etc have ceased to look like food to me and i have the same thing with meat substitutes. especially when i know its produced using a lot of overly processed things including chemicals as others have suggested. the best meat substitute is a mushroom ;)
While a grilled portobello burger is good, it’s still very different from a ground beef burger. This is a meat alternative that’s very much like beef and designed for meat eaters who want a choice. Maybe you should try one before you make such definitive negative comments. Choice is good for everyone.
@SarahsSummer i tried just about every meat alternative there is over the years and yeah its a great tool for people trying to cut down meat but personally as a vegetarian of 40years i prefer more chemical free alternatives and as i mentioned elswhere since becoming sugar free i dont see meat or indeed chocalate bars as food anyway.
I see. You’re already a vegetarian. Like I said, the impossible burger is geared more towards Current meat eaters. I dont eat sugar/candy anymore either.
@SarahsSummer yeah i think i covered that and i guess its also handy if a veggie gets invited out with a group of dead animal eaters too but im way past that stage... so what made you cut sugar?
There’s a risk of diabetes in my family. Besides, I Actually just prefer snacks like celery, carrots and pea pods.
@SarahsSummer well thats a good reason and it has been linked to the rise in diabetes cases so makes sense too even without family history of it
A couple bucks
may get that for lunch tomorrow
